Archaeological Dig
Year 3 and 4 had the exciting opportunity to be archaeologists this week! After a look at what it takes to be an archaeologist, the children were asked to identify which periods of history they thought certain archaeological finds belonged to.
Once they had done this, they used practical skills to become archaeologists and try to uncover some of their own unique finds from the soil. The children had to great care and precision when unearthing their finds so they didn’t cause any damage to them.
The children thoroughly enjoyed this experience!Year Three & Four Curriculum Overview
