Ambition
We want to give all children the opportunity to develop their creative flair. Through the development of their skills, pupils engage with different mediums through a range of different creative themes.
To support this even further, pupils regularly collaborate with different artists providing fun and memorable learning experiences.
Implementation
The Art curriculum is designed to be progressive and accessible to all learners, ensuring pupils develop key artistic skills as they move through the school. These include fine art (painting and drawing), collage and textiles, printing, 3D art through sculpting and moulding, photography and artist study.
Through our bespoke curriculum, written by Art specialists from across our Trust, pupils are supported to develop and refine their skills, evaluate their own work and confidently discuss the work of exceptional artists from a range of cultures and historical periods. This inclusive approach ensures every child can engage meaningfully, achieve success and flourish creatively.
