• Who we are…

The Pineham Barns PTA was established in September 2017 when the school opened. We are a friendly group and our aim is to both raise funds for our school and also organise events and activities that bring our school community together.

• What we do…

We are a busy bunch and run lots of events throughout the year, some for just the children and some for the wider school community. We organise termly discos for the children to enjoy as well as regular movie nights and monthly PTA nature walks, with the opportunity for both parents and children to socialise and explore in the great outdoors.

We also hold an annual Summer Fete and have organised a Quiz Night for parents as well as a Race Night, which helped to raise money for the Rae Rae Trust in addition to the school.

• What have we achieved?

At the end of the first academic year we were able to buy an array of new books for the school to develop its growing library. The PTA also provided prizes for the Easter egg hunt and refreshing treats on Sports Day. Every academic year we have a new fundraising focus to help support the school.

• Get involved…

We are a friendly lot who enjoy socialising whilst also organising special events to benefit all the children at Pineham Barns. We have regular monthly meetings and always welcome new members, whether you want to play a key role or just help out when you can.
