Geography

Ambition
We aim to inspire a positive and proactive approach towards securing the future of our planet. We want our pupils to be enthused by the subject so they have a desire to continue to learn about our planet’s geographical wonders.
Implementation
We begin in Early Years and Key Stage One using the local area bringing pupils’ learning to life through the exploration of the natural environment. Moving into Key Stage Two the children have a secure understanding of the wonders of our planet encouraging a fascination and inquisitive nature which promotes a caring attitude towards our environment.
Through our carefully mapped curriculum pupils develop their skills of geographic enquiry and enhance their understanding of human and physical geography.
